The Uxbridge Cat Rescue is a long standing non-profit organization in the GTA. Having grown up in Uxbridge, I’ve always felt a special connection to this rescue, and even spent eight years fostering for them. Like any animal rescue, they rely on generous donations and volunteers. This campaign set out to bring that support to life by creating a cat themed calendar and promoting a launch event to go with it.

- Gain attention for the rescue
- Create multiple formats to promote the campaign
- 1 Calendar
- 3 Advertising posters
- Social media posts
- 1 Short motion advertisement
For this project, I focused on understanding what the rescue needs most right now, donations and volunteers. Since the Uxbridge Cat Rescue has been active since 2011 and already has a loyal community behind it, the next step is expanding its reach and connecting with a broader audience.

The goal of this campaign was to showcase the playful and quirky personalities that make every cat so unique. Each cat has its own charm, attitude, and goofy habits, and it was important that the campaign reflected that individuality. By doing so, the visuals feel more authentic, engaging, and true to the spirit of the rescue.
Once the design elements were complete, I moved on to drafting layout concepts. The core idea was to blend expressive typography with playful illustrations, creating a cohesive look that captured the warm, cat loving spirit of the campaign.

After finalizing the overall look, I moved on to creating the various formats and variations needed to complete the campaign.
The final pieces are fun, bright, and eye-catching, offering a fresh visual identity for the Uxbridge Cat Rescue. Each calendar month features its own unique theme, keeping the design versatile while celebrating the wide range of cat personalities.
